What to ExpectWhat is I’m OK?
Sometimes we don’t need answers as much as we need space to think.
I’m OK? is a six-week online therapeutic reflection group open to adults across the UK. Because sessions take place online via Zoom, participants are welcome wherever they are based, provided they can attend from a private, confidential space.
It is designed for people who are curious about themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.
Drawing on concepts from Transactional Analysis, each session offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore alongside others in a thoughtfully facilitated, confidential space.
✱ A Therapeutic SpaceWe hold the group within a therapeutic framework, creating a confidential space where curiosity, reflection and respectful dialogue can emerge naturally.
✱ Shared ReflectionYou’ll be invited to reflect on your own experiences while hearing the perspectives of others. Often, it is through these shared conversations that new insights begin to emerge.
✱ Thoughtful FacilitationEach session is co-facilitated by two Transactional Analysis Psychotherapists in Advanced Clinical Training, offering a balance of structure, curiosity and attentive holding throughout the group.
✱ Intentionally SmallLimited to eight participants, the group is kept deliberately small to allow meaningful participation, genuine connection and space for every voice to be heard.
Reflection deepens when it is shared.Who is it for?
This group may be a good fit if you:
are considering therapy and looking for a gentle place to begin exploring yourself
are already in therapy and would value another reflective space
are interested in understanding yourself and your relationships more deeply
notice recurring patterns in your thoughts, feelings or behaviours
enjoy thoughtful conversation and learning through the perspectives of others
are open to curiosity, reflection and personal exploration.
No previous knowledge of Transactional Analysis is required.
How the group works
The group meets online once a week for six sessions, each lasting 90 minutes.
Each week is centred around a different Transactional Analysis concept, providing a starting point for reflection and conversation. While the themes offer a gentle structure, the focus remains on participants’ own experiences rather than theory.
Sessions typically include time for individual reflection, discussion in pairs or small groups, and conversation as a whole group. There is no expectation to share anything you don’t wish to, and you’re encouraged to participate at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we share a belief that meaningful self-understanding grows through relationship. While our backgrounds and experiences are different, we are united by an intersectional, relational approach to psychotherapy and a way of working that values curiosity, compassion and thoughtful reflection.Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. I’m OK? is a therapeutic reflection group rather than a psychotherapy group. While the group is held within a therapeutic framework, its purpose is to offer a structured space for reflection and shared exploration rather than ongoing group psychotherapy.
-
Group psychotherapy is primarily focused on the therapeutic process that develops between members over time. I’m OK? combines therapeutic principles with structured reflection. Each session is centred around a Transactional Analysis concept, providing a starting point for conversation and personal exploration. The emphasis is on curiosity, self-awareness and shared reflection.
-
Transactional Analysis (TA) is a psychological approach that offers a practical language for understanding ourselves, our relationships and the patterns that shape our lives. Throughout the group, we’ll draw on TA concepts as starting points for reflection rather than as subjects to be formally taught.
-
Intersectionality recognises that our identities, experiences and opportunities are shaped by many aspects of who we are, including culture, race, gender, sexuality, disability, age and socioeconomic background. We recognise that everyone experiences the world differently, and we aim to hold a space where these differences can be explored with curiosity, respect and care.

Yes. Before joining, we’ll arrange a short conversation with each prospective participant to ensure the group feels like the right fit for where you are at this point in your life.
-
This group is designed for people who are able to engage in reflective discussion within a group setting. It isn’t intended as crisis support or as an alternative to individual psychotherapy. If we feel another form of support would better meet your needs, we’ll discuss this with you before the group begins.
-
No. No previous knowledge or experience is required.
-
Students of Transactional Analysis are welcome to attend. However, as we are both in Advanced Clinical Training rather than qualified TA trainers, attendance should not be assumed to count towards formal TA training requirements. If you are hoping to use the group as part of your training, we recommend discussing this with your principal trainer or supervisor before booking.

Participants are asked to join from a private space where they can speak freely without being overheard or interrupted. Cameras should remain on throughout the session to support connection within the group.
-
The group is intended as a complete six-week experience. At the end of the programme, we’ll invite participants to reflect on what they’re taking away from the group and what their next steps might be. For some, that may simply be carrying new awareness into everyday life; for others, it may include further therapeutic work.
-
Before joining, everyone is invited to a brief online consultation with one of the facilitators. This is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether the group is likely to be a good fit for your needs. It also helps us create a group where participants are able to engage safely and thoughtfully with one another.
There is something quietly powerful about making sense of ourselves in the company of others.
